High-Pressure Water Jetting

Remediation, or water jet blasting, of steel or concrete structures is a highly progressive remediation method. It uses a high-pressure water jet of up to 2800 bar, achieving the highest grade of concrete surface preparation. Water pressure depends on the type, condition and depth of the layer being removed, and the extent of damage to the concrete.

High-pressure water jetting is used across many industries:

• Construction – repair and refurbishment of concrete structures, removal of old coatings and dirt from building surfaces
• Chemical industry – remediation of equipment, pipework, tube bundles, tanks and sumps, cleaning of piping systems from deposits
• Engineering – refurbishment of steel structures, surface preparation for corrosion protection by removing old coatings
• Agriculture – remediation of sump walls and floors from sediment and dirt, hygiene of barns, floors and silage pits
